Dr. Vjara Ilieva

After completing my medical studies at the University of Vienna, I finished my training as a general practitioner and later as a specialist in radiology.

I have been working as a hospital doctor in Vienna for over ten years now. I started in 2009 at Hietzing Hospital and the Rosenhügel Neurological Center, and later moved to Wilhelminenspital (recently renamed Klinik Ottakring) for my specialist training.

I still work there today as a specialist in radiology. My areas of expertise as a radiologist, besides acute radiology and oncological imaging, are mainly mammography and breast cancer diagnostics, as well as taking biopsies for suspicious changes in the breast. This work means a lot to me and I enjoy it very much.

Nevertheless, I always had the desire to run my own practice. For this reason, I opened my private practice in Baden near Vienna in 2018. Here, I am particularly grateful for the wonderful collaboration with my colleague Dr. Mayer, who is not only an excellent dermatologist but also a wonderful and long-time friend.

A few years later, I also opened a second practice in Vienna, as I was delighted that patients from Vienna were becoming more numerous and I wanted to save them the trip to Baden.

At both locations, I would like to offer you my services in the field of minimally invasive aesthetic treatments with great sensitivity to your individual wishes and ideas. In addition, I am also happy to assist you with general medical issues beyond aesthetic concerns.

Since I have a diploma in orthomolecular medicine from the Austrian Medical Association in addition to my training as a general practitioner and specialist training in radiology, you can get information about micronutrients, dietary supplements, and vitamins in my practice, and corresponding examinations and selected vitamin infusions are offered.

My practice is a private practice; for organizational reasons, we cannot offer submission of fee notes or offsetting with statutory health insurance providers.
