Dear patients,
I hope you are well and you and your loved ones are healthy.
For almost two weeks now, the measures ordered by the federal government in response to the corona crisis have been in place. Perhaps you have already settled into a new kind of routine, or perhaps you still feel like the walls are closing in on you. I would really understand that…
As much as one understands the rationale behind the measures, it is not easy to limit social contacts to a minimum and to leave one’s own apartment or house as little as possible. At the same time, many of us also have to teach or entertain our children who are also at home.
Those of you who can work from home may be struggling with technical difficulties from time to time. Those who work in critical areas must continue to do everything to keep our system running (a big thank you for that!!!). Many may also be worried about the impact the current situation could have on their professional lives. I know of weddings and family celebrations that had to be postponed despite great anticipation, of couples who currently have to endure separation. I feel for you.
Certainly, the situation is stressful for all of us. Please don’t forget to think about the good things from time to time and don’t lose your smile and your sense of humor.
As for me, I am fortunately healthy at the moment, as are all my loved ones, for which I am very grateful. Radiant Beauty will remain closed until the beginning of May for now. After that, hopefully, the measures will be gradually relaxed and I can welcome you back. As quiet as it is in the practice at the moment, I am very busy with my work at the hospital, as things are quite turbulent here.
Until we can see each other again, I am of course available by phone and email for all your concerns or questions.
It is of great concern to me to remind you of the following:
If you use today’s sunrays for a stay outdoors, a walk or a break in your own garden, don’t forget sun protection. Of course, especially now, we long even more to be kissed by the sun, but please don’t forget that our pale winter skin is now very sensitive, both to sunburn and to UVA rays, which are responsible for premature skin aging. It would be a real shame if the beautiful results of various treatments were undone by too much sun.
I wish you all courage, humor, and confidence. If you need anything, you can contact me at any time.
Warmest regards!
Yours,
Dr. Ilieva
