Mesotherapy

This gentle method results in skin revitalization with a radiant complexion and a refreshed skin appearance. Highly concentrated active ingredients are precisely introduced into the uppermost layer of the skin. The specially formulated recipes of amino acids, trace elements, vitamins, and hyaluronic acid are individually adapted to your personal skin condition.

Mesotherapy is one of the gentlest anti-aging procedures that can be repeated as often as desired.

Important Facts

What is Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a treatment method developed about 60 years ago in France, where anti-aging substances (such as vitamins or hyaluronic acid) are introduced directly under the skin surface in minimal amounts using a special injection technique (microinjections). This gentle procedure achieves enormous stimulation of cell metabolism with corresponding skin smoothing and tightening.

It is an extremely gentle aesthetic treatment method that reduces signs of skin aging on the face, neck, and décolleté.

Mesotherapy - little, rarely in the right place

A mesotherapy cocktail specially tailored to your skin consisting of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, highly concentrated vitamins, minerals, and amino acids replenishes the skin with moisture and restores its radiance and firmness.

The precise administration of substances strengthens the skin’s regenerative power, stimulates fibroblast activity, and increases blood circulation and moisture content.

The result is a radiant complexion

Additionally, special formulations are available for specific skin problems such as pigmentation disorders or hair loss.

At the same time, your face remains completely natural – no one will notice that you have had a treatment.

How does the mesotherapy treatment proceed?

Before the actual therapy, your current skin condition is assessed in an anamnesis consultation. Whether fine lines, pigmentation disorders, or acne, the appropriate active ingredients are then selected for each concern.

After disinfection of the skin, the mesotherapy cocktail optimally tailored to your needs is then introduced into the uppermost layer of the skin using fine needles.

Anesthesia is not necessary for most patients, as the administration is only very superficial and therefore almost painless. The injection sites are so tiny that usually no visible hematomas appear.

The duration of the mesotherapy treatment is about 20 minutes.

For particularly sensitive patients, slight redness of the face may occasionally be visible immediately after the treatment. Other rare side effects include tiny punctiform bleeding at individual spots with particularly thin skin, which, however, stop after a few minutes and do not leave any scabs.

There is no downtime with mesotherapy; you can resume your usual daily routine immediately after the therapy.

Advantages of Mesotherapy

The immediate social presentability, the short duration of the treatment, and the fact that severe side effects can be virtually ruled out make mesotherapy a very popular alternative for all patients who want to emphasize the natural beauty of their skin and desire gentle rejuvenation but do not want more invasive aesthetic treatments.

Combination of Mesotherapy with Other Procedures

Mesotherapy and Microneedling - an unbeatable team

Mesotherapy can be excellently combined with microneedling. Here, patients benefit from the advantages of both methods, with the introduced active ingredients penetrating even better into the skin through the needling.

The vitamins and other active ingredients of the meso-cocktail unfold their anti-aging effect immediately after application, and in the coming weeks, the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling provides additional skin tightening.

This results in continuous skin rejuvenation and smoothing without altering facial features.

Mesotherapy and the classics of aesthetics - Botox and Fillers

Of course, if desired, you can also combine your mesotherapy treatment with more invasive procedures such as botulinum toxin injections or treatments with hyaluronic acid fillers. This is especially beneficial if you wish to improve expression lines or suffer from volume loss in the face.

However, to keep side effects to a minimum, I recommend not performing the mesotherapy treatment simultaneously with other procedures, but in a separate session.

How many mesotherapy treatments are necessary

Mesotherapy is a method that, due to its particular gentleness, shows the best results with regular application, as the skin is repeatedly supplied with revitalizing substances from within.

You achieve the best results with 3-4 consecutive applications at 2-week intervals. For a long-lasting effect, a repetition is recommended every 3-4 months, although some patients appreciate treating themselves to this extra care boost from within even once a month.

Mesotherapy for pain

Another application of mesotherapy is the treatment of pain. In particular, acute and chronic pain conditions of the musculoskeletal system such as chronic back pain, neck tension, or joint complaints often respond positively to mesotherapeutic treatment.
